I searched for ages to find the line of code I needed... I ploughed through all the sites offering convoluted solutions, the sites offering JavaScript solutions when the description of the site said ASP ! and I even found sites that wanted to charge me $49 for a script to do this !

Actually this is here for my ease. When I am creating a a new site I often need to fill it up with text so I can see how it looks in a browser etc. The printing industry has used this chunk of text since the 1950's and interestingly this has continued with electronic publishing. There is a really good Lorum Ipsum generator at

Yep, I've added a blog... but not so I can cronicle day to day activities. Its here so that from time to time I can publish articles about bits of technology or technical procedures, particularly if I have spent considerable time searching the Internet to find out how to do something.
